My brofurs big paw, a pawsome blogger award, today's windy transport & my pintrest button
Harrooo mates! Is efferyone's weekend marvelous? First of all thank woo all for the kind comments on my little brofur's woooless Wednesday post (even though he posted it on Tuesday hawoooo!). That little black doggie moved in last week over our back fence. He is real friendly, but Isis doesn't like him. She can be a bit of a grouch at times...other doggies running around don't bother me or Nukie too much. Because we live 'out in the county' our neighbors with labs and collies and such- i.e. those puppies for whom the um...the call of the wild is not quite so strong, ofter let them run. Friendly puppies (most of them) do fine, and unfortunately, bad puppies often meet their demise harassing livestock. He is always doing zoomies by the fence. Maybe he can come over to play sometime.
Secondly, we'd like to paw a real big thank woooo to our mates over at http://taleoftwohuskies.blogspot.com/. They awarded us this most pawsome blogger award. If you haven't met them please head over there!
So we have to tell woo all seven random things about us....Well, let's see. I love raw fish, Nukie eats carrots (BLECH!!) and Isis won't eat people food. Does that count as one or three? Isis wooos in her sleep, I wooo at the TV, and Nukie woooos all the time hawoooo! Oh, and I don't like pokupines, those are nasty precious. And rakkies, I almost caught you once and if woo are reading this woo better never come back!
Sorry, I got distracted, so this morning we went for a walkie early then played bitey face after breakfast.
#1 left soon to take care of three pups making their way to better places. We here would like to extend our special thanks to Sam- transport coordinator in training ans ML- first time transporter, welcome to our family! Now take a look at this brown eyed cutie!
The wind along our corridor of I-80 was vicious. Ground blizzards often hide nasty ice. Speeds were in the 40s at times. The pups curled in and snoozed the whole way. Which was nice because this is what it looked like on the high Wyoming desert:
Finally, woo may have noticed my new pintrest buttons. We've just discovered pintrest, and admit it is a bit addictive. So if any of woo do pintrest look me up- RA Husquiberian.
Peace and love,
RAHUSKY

Sunday Night's Transport
Harrooo mates! Sunday morning #1 got an urgent call from a kind soul trying to get this big old Pyrenees puppy from 'somewhere back west' to 'somewhere out east'. This was not your average rescue - if Drake was not removed immediately he would be destroyed (stupid humans). Through a friend of a friend a rescue was contacted and accepted him, but that would require coordinating a transport in about two hours... on super bowl Sunday...can you imagine? Well let me tell woo something- he was on the road within the hour. And while 100 million people watched a football game Drake made his 6:00 p.m. rendezvous with a trucker who would take him the majority of the way.
Such a dear... |
Don't worry Drake, you are safe now! Enjoy your journey big dog. |
Peace & love,
RAHUSKY
