Puppy play date.
Harrooo mates! Thank woo all for the kind comments in regards to our trip into the snow last Saturday. We were hiking in the beautiful snowy range. <<clicky for more info, (pretty pics but lacking in huskerboos). It's about an hour from home; a nice place to go on a hot summer day.
Yesterday, Isis & I had an excellent play date here in town at the park~just thought we might share a few pictures.
Ya'll come back now!

Saturday's return to the scene!
Good day gentle readers! This morning we decided it may be nice to escape the mosquitoes and head up into the mountains. Woo will remember last weekends adventures were cut short. But first we wanted to again thank everyone for the well-wishes & answer a couple questions from previous comments. Yes Tweedles, woo must clip the porcupine quills to make the barb retract so they can be pulled. And yes fivesibes- that was duck jerky from our dear furiends the PAWZ! (psssttt...diesel, QUACK QUACK QUACK!!!!) BOL!! It is highly recommended. So without further delay...
Be well mates!

Did you learn anything? A.K.A. The lecture.
What was said...
"You are a very naughty husky. You should be ashamed of yourself. That poor porcupine was just sitting there minding his own business and you came along and ruined his day. You better be very sorry young man. Do you hear me? Do you realize you've used up your allowance through 2024? You are so lucky. Don't you ever do that again. Are you listening to me? "
What was heard...
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah porcupine blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...
mmmmm...porcupine...
RAHUSKY
editor's note- thank you all so very much for the well wishes for rara. He is on antibiotics q.i.d for two weeks but otherwise is none the worse for the encounter... I would urge everyone to purchase a good pair of hemostats and keep it in whatever first aid kit you have. I had a leatherman tool, but I had to come an hour out of the mountains to get the correct tool for removing the quills from rara, i.e. hemostats. Thanks again!
Oh and the thing about putting our fingers in your dogs mouth regularly in case you ever have to-yeah it works- also have a pair of winter gloves in your first aid kit to grasp & maneuver the tongue- they are slimy and hard to hold on to:)

A monster came out of the snow & got me!
Good morning gentle readers, yesterday we all thinking how hot it is getting to be here on the high Wyoming dessert...
That's when pops said the magic 's' word- snow in June??!! You are crazy pops...well sure enough we all loaded up and took a trip into the beautiful snowy range! Here is a view of where we went from our front gate-
Wooo! It's not hot anymore~ come on Isis, let's play!
Isis & I were having the best time, rough housing...
And doing zoomies!
And snootering
And then this happened...have any of woo ever heard of a porcupine? Well, let me tell you something- they're no chicken if you know what I mean...This is where pops screamed and dropped the camera in the mud. We were about an hour into the mountains- did I mention that? Pops worked for a couple hours with the pliers and we made for town. By 7:00 I got the last of the ones under my tongue removed. Hope your Saturday was better than mine,
