Have you ever even seen a picture of a wolf ?, or Tonight at Murdochs

Just got back from Murdochs farm & ranch. First trip in was Isis' turn-#1 takes two trips into the store- one pup at a time... waiting sucks- Isis told me she got a pleasant comment about being a white shepherd which was flattering. (Isis isn't white, more of a 'biscuit', but I do think she has a bit of shepherd in her so OK)...well, second trip in #1 & I were rounding the Sorrel boots and we were accosted!

It pretty much went like this: A female around 40 or so approached us to say hello (normally OK)- well I am rather A.D.D. most the time in Murdock's- so knowing this #1 usually tells me to, "say hello" (which I, like the gentlesiber I am, do) and we move on. Anyway, she immediately started on this huge diatribe about 'wolf-dogs' and second and third generation huskies and how I must be a second generation because I was aloof and...really, for like 5 minutes about how I am probably a better guard dog than 'those third generation huskies' apparently her friend had a 3rd generation husky who wasn't a good watch-dog so she had to get rid of him...

at this point my poor little siber mind was about to pop. How many things can we count wrong about this?

Well #1 began to emit a high pitched whine & I suspected we better, "go ahead and split before the cops show up"

so I assumed control of the situation...

Anyways, that's the evening adventure. Silly humans....

If that is the first dopey comment you have had, consider yourself blessed. However, I can suspect you have heard many more, so just let it go, let it go!

Some peoples do not get their brains in gear before opening their mouths. We've had peoples say things to us sometimes too. Mom usually just turns & walks away. Then again maybe the person was lonely......
You are very handsome pups. Love the snow pics from the other day.

Hehe. Sounds like a fun adventure, nonetheless. The silliest things we here are like - my what a BIG husky! (Deezy wags) or that can't be a husky, his eyes aren't blue!
Mally wags & Husky hugz to woo!

Can't believe how tiny some hoomans' brains are. Maybe you should have left some trinkle winkle as a little gift for the hooman, to show how "aloof" you are? Hehe

Woofs,

Silly humans indeed. Well, "silly" wasn't exactly the word I was going for. After a few minutes of that, they become the teacher's voice in Peanuts, "Wahh-Wahh-Wahh-Wahh." Makes you glad you don't have to deal with them everyday! Wow! I always like when they question the obvious about my marked Sibes, "What kind of dog is that?" Ummmm...Poodle? ;-)

Our two whites (are white only after their baths) change to biscuit color, too! I like that descriptive so much better than "tan." Well, it's pouring buckets here and the furkids are out right now, so I better go check on my pack of first generation watch dogs to be sure they are not being aloof. :-)

Just remember humans are descended from monkeys...enough said there! Despite the mindless chatterer, shopping is always fun!

My humans have actually been up close and personal with real wolves at Wolf Park in Indiana. Mom even got kissed by one. If people actually saw a wolf in person they would never, ever, ask if a Sibe was a wolf, or closely related to one. Other than similar coloring, there is NOTHING similar! Wolves are HUGE and tall with heads bigger than a humans!

So, my human would probably have pointed out that THAT human had no idea what they were talking about, but she really loves wolves, and hates that people are so stupid about them.
