Gosh pops, it sure is hot out here! |

View from our front gate. |
Wooo! It's not hot anymore~ come on Isis, let's play!
Isis & I were having the best time, rough housing...
And doing zoomies!
And snootering
And then this happened...have any of woo ever heard of a porcupine? Well, let me tell you something- they're no chicken if you know what I mean...This is where pops screamed and dropped the camera in the mud. We were about an hour into the mountains- did I mention that? Pops worked for a couple hours with the pliers and we made for town. By 7:00 I got the last of the ones under my tongue removed. Hope your Saturday was better than mine,

Hey RA! We have porkies here too but they are out in the woods, in the country so we city pups don't run into them too often. But they are meaner than snakes if you bump them and I am so sorry you got hurt by the needles. You'll know next time to run the other way, FAST!
Kisses,
Stella
What an awesome place that is but I am so sorry about what happened to you up there. I have never come across one of those fellas before but I heard their sharp, long, pokey stuff can be really nasty & painful. Glad to know all of them were removed.
Oh, no, RA! We are so sorry the monster got you :( That sounds like a terrible way to spend your Saturday night but we are very glad that they were able to get all of those pokies out of your mouth. At least you got to have some snow zoomies earlier in the day.
Hope your recovery is going well!

Oh no, Ra. That is just horrible. We had a hard time looking at that photo - that must have been so painful. At least you did get to have some fun in the snow first. Hope you are doing OK, pal.

Oh my gosh,, I would want to bury my face in the cold snow,, if that happened to me..
My moms used to have donkeys, and one of the donkeys got quills all over his face. The vet came out and cut the tips off the quills and they deflated,, then they came out easy,,,
Is that what you did?
Poor puppy!

Ra, we were so horrified to hear of your plight! We know porcupines and are certain that the ordeal must have been the most awful...you are a brave warrior, dear friend. Glad to know that even though it was painful, that all of the quills are moved and you are medicated so there will be no infection. White Dog Army woos of comfort, sorrow, but also of pride at how tough you are!
Now why does the porkypine ruin your fun filled day?!?! That's just mean! I am now fully anti-porkypine! Booo!!!
Feel better! Ouch!
Oh Ra i hope you are feeling better. Please Ra dont do that ever ever again. Porcupines are bad! here are some Big Husky hugs for you. xoxoo
Oh, nooooo....I was just sitting here scrolling through your great fun pics in the snow thinking about how envious the Five would be and wishing they could come join you...and then I got to the porcupine incident! Oh, Ra, ouch! So sorry about that porcupine. Husky hugs (and human) coming your way for a speedy recovery. You poor baby...that mean porcupine. What was it thinking??? Huskies just want to "play" with small things (he-he)....feel better soon.
