Harroo readers! Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend. Saturday morning after walkies and biscuits & gravy #1 headed out to collect the post; upon returning his behavior was a little peculiar. We soon snootered out the goods- prezzies form our mates in the desert- Chuy, Gretchen & Anka! Check it out!

Pee Ess, we got rid of the spammers by putting a limit on the number of days comments can post without moderation. Any post older than five days requires moderation - the spammers all stopped. Not sure why but you can do that in your settings.

We sometimes notice spammers make it through too. We don't know how to delete a follower who really is not a followe but a spammer.
Oh well.

I've only really had one recent spammer and at least it wasn't that awful Chinese stuff that was going around a while ago. But I introduced comment mod to ensure that I only get comments from dogbloggers or persons who are not advertising stuff. Hey - my blog is not a free ad site.
Since I started my new wordpress blog, so far, I've not had any spam :)
